On November 2, 2016 , The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. I was jubilant. Today July 30th, I am sad. The Cubs have traded away the core players on the team. Ending an era. Slamming the door shut on a great run.
I don’t know any of the players and they don’t know me. So why in the world am I upset over it? I am not the only one. Cubs fans on Twitter and Facebook are expressing sadness. I feel a bit ashamed of myself honestly for being upset over the decisions made by the management team of a sports organization. Maybe there is a lesson here for me to learn.
