Action the antidote to frustration and anxiety.

If you are stuck, ask yourself these two questions. What is the next decision that I need to make? Second, what was one action I can take right now at this moment that moves me forward?

Here is an example. My manuscript for my next book came back to me last week. I freaked out. I began to list everything I disliked about it, A list of activities I needed to participate in before the novel was published.

These thoughts only created anxiety and frustration. I paused and asked myself the two questions.

The next decision that I needed to make was to begin reading through the suggestions from my editor. The action step was to click the accept changes button or make a change based on the feedback from my editor. I went one at a time. As I did this, the anxiety and the frustration began to fade.

Not forever, anxiety and frustration came back. Still, by the time they did, I had finished going through the suggestions and moved one step closer to putting the book into the Kindle Store on Amazon.

Action is an antidote to frustration and anxiety.

If you keep moving, you will end up somewhere.
