Facing Disruption with Faith

There is a great deal of media advertising a lifestyle that is free from pain and suffering. The messages are convincing and often accompanied by photos and testimonies. These are a shadow of reality. No matter how hard we try, we will have events that cause disruptions in our lives. You will have them, and other people do, too. Even those who have the pictures of the nice vacations. Disruptions generate fear; if the fear is left unacknowledged, it will begin to drive our decision-making, decisions generated by fretting and often leading to failure. There is another option. When the disruption arrives in the form of a thought, event, or future concern, acknowledge the fear, decide to face it, proclaim the faith that you can walk through this, and you will find friends who will support you. What situation do you need to apply this to?
