Manage Tension
It takes effort to cultivate joy. To overcome the constant barrage of negative imagery, circumstances, and messages. These are piped into our newsfeeds and networks daily.
Working regularly in positive self-talk, meditation, journaling, and reframing provide a path forward.
At times staying stuck in the cycle feels like the right thing to do. Outrage seems like an appropriate response. Anger could appeal as a plan.
The reality is that they are not the way to progress. Tension is manageable by being calm, accepting, and gentle with yourself.
You may not be able to solve your problems, but you will manage the tension and then move forward.
