"Monday Mindset Shift"
The Sunday Scaries are a real thing. Each week, I look forward to Friday night and dread Sunday evening. Recently, rather than engaging in constant thinking centered around avoiding Monday. I decided to change it up. On Sunday night, I made a list of what I enjoyed over the weekend. After completing this list, I wrote down what I looked forward to on Monday. For example, I wrote that I was looking forward to making coffee and drinking from the new tumbler I purchased over the weekend. I also included on the list making toast in the new air fryer. Guess what? It didn’t change the events of the day. What it did do was change how I reacted to the events of Monday, which could be discouraging. So try this out. On Sunday night, take out some paper and write down what you are looking forward to on Monday. It will help.
