On Worry

Worry lasts for a few moments, and the events seem endless. Try this thought experiment .What were you worried about on December 16th, 2021? How about March 5th, 2016? Pick a date, any date, and any year in the past. Can you remember what you worried or anxious about that particular day? Go back even further. Try your senior year of High School or sophomore year of college. Perhaps even your first day of employment at any job you have had. Can you list your worries? I don’t know about you, but I can’t even remember. This means that the worries, concerns, and fears were overcome. I know this because I am still typing today. So, how does that move us forward in addressing those possibilities that contribute to our anxious moments? Reflect and journal your answer.
