I am not afraid to show my work. I make YouTube videos, podcasts, blog posts, and a newsletter. I have come to believe that a bad performance won’t ruin you. Bad performances occur all the time. For example, Trevor Lawerence tossed four interceptions in an NFL playoff game against the Chargers last Saturday. In fact, at one point, his team was losing 27-0. Guess what? His team came back and won the game. The bad performance was forgotten, and the game was won. I believe part of the reason is that his coach didn’t give up on him, and Trevor didn’t give up on himself.

In fact the offense seemed to get more aggressive instead of less. So that is why I am not afraid to show my work. It isn’t one individual performance or worry that people won’t like it or read it that drives me or factors into my decision-making calculus. It is taking advantage of the opportunities that technology provides me to contribute a positive message to people worldwide. I will have days that are good and days that aren’t, but I will continue to have days. If you are nervous about sharing your work going over it for the tenth time won’t quell those fears. Share your work. Confront the fear and disarm it. If you desire to create and have an idea share it.
