The end of break

Today is the last day of winter break. A part of me wishes I could stay in this time of year forever. Christmas and New Year’s are my favorite times—filled with family, late mornings, movies, books, sports, and planning for the year ahead.

It’s tempting to drift into sadness about the upcoming week and returning to work. But what if we approached it differently? Instead of dreading the return to routine, we could be thankful for having a place to go each day. Be grateful for the work you do and for the people who benefit from it. Take a moment to appreciate those you love, and carry the spirit of the holiday season into your everyday life.

Reflection Question:

How can you bring the joy and gratitude of the holiday season into your daily routines, even during busy or challenging times?
