Crooked Vision

It is never a straight line to your goals and accomplishments. Setbacks, discouragement, and confusion are constant partners. Amidst this, I often hear the advice to write a clear, compelling vision statement. Is this helpful? I don't know. How can clear and compelling exist alongside confusion and setbacks?
