Don’t make.

Don’t make assumptions. If you have ever read the four agreements, you know that don’t make assumptions is one of them. Assumptions can set up unrealistic expectations and lead to disappointment, for example. I assumed that the hospital would have a cafeteria, so I didn’t eat; when I arrived, I discovered that there was not one. The positive is that there are snacks in my bag. This wasn’t planned. It just happened. So what do we do? We don’t need to make assumptions. But making assumptions seems about as normal as breathing, so don’t beat yourself up for making them.
