Embracing Generative AI
What I enjoy about generative AI. I enjoy not dealing with pop-ups, surveys, and signing up for an email list. It’s interesting that if you go to any marketing or sales seminar, building a list, generating a landing page, and getting feedback are mentioned. Then comes a long list of people telling you how much money they made by engaging in these activities. The tactics preached like the gospel in building a business are the most annoying parts to a customer. Here is one example. I study theology from time to time. One day, while reading an a commentary on the book of Hosea, a pop-up came up advertising attractive Asian brides. Why was an ad for attractive Asian brides being shown to me? In the book of Hosea, God asks Hosea to marry a prostitute. The algorithm saw prostitution and immediately concluded that I sought illicit female companionship. This wasn’t the case at all.
With generative AI, I don’t worry about this. Enter the prompt to gain a response. Hopefully, it will remain this way. A paid version of generative AI is great. Hopefully, in the rush to make profits, it will not render the service unusable
