Joyful weekend reflections

The week off has been a delight. There's something special about indulging in activities that bring joy. Visiting coffee shops, strolling along the beach, acquiring new books, and treating oneself to a fresh pair of Converse All-Stars made the time particularly enjoyable. Catching a few movies added to the fun as well. Spending time with family has been equally thrilling.

Amidst the enjoyment, there was some news that proved challenging to digest. Yet, maintaining a hopeful perspective and outlook seems to be a manageable approach. This contemplation brings the focus to Sunday, the final day before the return to work on Monday. There's always a sense of tension marking the end of a break and the onset of a new work week. The first day back presents its challenges: it's tough to wake up, hard to get moving.

It's tempting to let a storm cloud hover over Sunday, to not savor it, knowing the break concludes the next day. However, the intention for this Sunday is to embrace it fully. Shifting the mindset from dreading Monday, to one that eagerly anticipates what there is to look forward to. But is this approach genuine? Is it better to acknowledge the reluctance about Monday's return to work?

Perhaps a more authentic perspective would be to focus solely on the present day and the immediate decisions that need to be made. This approach could offer a more balanced view, allowing for both the acknowledgment of the impending work week and the enjoyment of the current moment
