Surfing through worries

Watching people surf is a nice distraction. It is easy to get consumed by worries and concerns. Once consumption begins, ruminating is next to follow. Consistent thoughts about worries and concerns don’t make them less likely to occur. Rumination doesn’t provide meaningful, productive means to work towards solving the problems or even to begin to address them. Watching the surfers surf does. It provides the time to contemplate and then create. Followed by a way forward. It doesn’t have to be watching people surf, as not all of us live near an ocean, but looking for beauty in our surroundings is possible. How do you deal with worry?
