Random Kindness

Sometimes these random cards cause me to begin to ask questions of the questions. For example, today's question is, "What random act of kindness could you perform right now? The first thought that came to mind was, ok, I will name something I can do today or something I did yesterday or next week. Does the Zoom meeting count that I just exited, where I volunteered to chaperone my son's field trip? The question said right now. So in my mind, it meant right now, in this very moment. It made me think about how literal I am and needing to follow the question exactly without going outside the lines. Then I just had to laugh because this isn't a paper being graded. It is a challenge that I am attempting to complete, sharing my work with the world for 30 days. As for the random act of kindness, I stood up, walked over to my wife, and kissed her. How about you? What random act of kindness can you perform right now? Or tomorrow; even something you did today counts. We all need more kindness in our lives.
