Got me Waiting by Heavy D name of the first song that came up this morning when I turned on Spotify.
Waiting was the topic of my spiritual meditation this morning as well.
Waiting.
What is your view of waiting? Look at your life and see where waiting has shown up.
Waiting for Christmas.
Waiting for your birthday.
Waiting to turn 16 so I can drive.
Waiting to turn 18 to be an adult.
Waiting to be 21 to drink.
Waiting to get married.
Waiting to have a job.
Waiting for a career.
Waiting for listeners.
Waiting for readers.
Waiting for results.
The list of things we wait for can go on and on for a long time.
It is easy to eliminate wait time.
For example, I can order my drink and food from my phone, stroll into the store, walk to the front and pick it up.
At amusement parks, we can buy a fast pass to skip the line.
Even now, we can drop our ballot off in a box.
Waiting can be a nuisance. But what if it wasn’t
Wait time is when things grow.
We wait for the cake to bake.
We wait for the child to form in the womb.
It is the middle that is scary.
But it doesn’t have to be.
