The next task
The next task in front of me. This is the thought I focus on when life gets busy and frantic. I must remind myself that my mind races and believes it’s in multiple places and participating in various activities simultaneously. The truth is that my body can only be in one place at a time.
Getting my mind unified with my body is the challenge. It seems so simplistic. My body can only be in one place at a time. That is true, but my mind, as it races from thought to thought, an event to event, and project to project, is working hard to persuade me otherwise. The truth is still the truth. My body can only be in one place at a time. So when it is busy, hectic, and frantic. I remind myself that I can only do the next task in front of me. After that task is completed, I move to the next, and then when the day is over, I can look back with a sense of accomplishment. What do you do when life gets busy?
