A perfect day.

After my morning ritual of meditation and spiritual reading, I pick the card with the question that I will use later for the post. Some days I will read the question and spend the day thinking about how to answer the question. On other days the card will sit with the question turned over. The reveal will occur when the writing time for the evening has begun. Tonight is one of those nights. After pouring some sleepy-time tea and setting a ten-minute timer, the card was turned over, and the question appeared. Tonight it was. What is your perfect day? For me, it usually begins with a coffee shop visit; I will sit down and read, journal, and drink coffee. After the coffee is made, I will walk down the beach, taking in the sites and sounds. Follow that up with a nice lunch, a trip to a bookstore, a movie, then time with friends and family. Nothing too fancy, but this is as close to a perfect day as I can think of. Sometimes it will involve driving far away; other times, it could be a short drive. A nice playlist will likely need to accompany me, and finding a new book to read either from the library or a bookstore. How about you? What is a perfect day?
