We know that in the world, there is great pain and suffering. Injustice, Inequality, and cruel behavior grab our attention daily. Alongside, but not as well publicized, if you look around, you can find beauty, generosity, compassion, and loving communities. One of these, when discovered, can help support others through the other. Can you guess which one? We all will face pain, tragedy, and loss in our lives. When those times arrive, we can turn to beauty and the generosity of a loving, compassionate community to support and steer us through the storm. You and I will be called to both roles, to be a captain of the ship and a passenger. In times of heartache, be thankful for those who have supported you; in times of tragedy, be the person who can support others
