Consequences

Is it possible for us to get curious and go a bit deeper? The answer to that question is yes. It is always available to ask more questions to discover additional lessons.

 Take the story of David and Bathsheba. A common interpretation is that David committed adultery, and God forgave him. This wasn’t the entire story. David did commit adultery. God forgave him, but David had to face consequences for his actions. Read 2 Samuel 12, and you will discover those consequences.

  Our behavior has consequences, some good and some bad. Our society seeks to wash away the consequences of behavior or flee from them. Consequences should teach us to make better choices in the future.
