Plan for the Present
Plan for the present. This thought came to me as I sat down to do my schedule. My present days are filled with plans, projects, and activities that I deemed valuable when I set out to accomplish them years ago. It isn't until the current one is finished that it isn't on to the next one. The present is when finishing is done. How do I want to finish my current projects? How do I set the course for completion? The future is for new projects, which will be born when the old one is finished. My plans need to be around keeping me in the present moment. The present moment has battles, demons, peaks, valleys, highs, and lows. The present moment has its fears, worries, and concerns. Can I challenge myself to create more internal joy in the present moment? More excitement inside of my head than pain, suffering, and angst. Let the outside world continue to generate that. As for me, I will work on creating what serves me best in the present moment.
