Desire and Action

What is the relationship between desire and action? Do they need each other? Desire without action is just daydreaming. Desire with action can be positive. Great works are accomplished when you add desire and action.

Conversely, desire and action produce horrific tragedies, hurt, and harm. The hope is that our individual desires lead to positive action that results in us being blessings to others around us and that we can discern what is beneficial to ourselves and others.
