Fact and Opinion

Do you believe that your opinions are facts? Fact and Opinion exercises were a part of the boring worksheets we did as children in school. Today, we may need to go back to using them. Daily, people speak assertively on social media, declaring the opinions they issue are facts that everyone must subscribe to; if you do, you are accepted. If you are not, you are shamed or called various names. The name you could be called is associated with the popular ism or acronym of the day. I may believe in finding common ground with individuals who have different views of parts of the world. This, of course, is my opinion. Could I persuade more of us to try? Try to be more curious and less judgmental.
