Work vs Works

There is a difference between work, and works. Work is the effort extended to bring about change. Work is exhausting, unpredictable, anxiety-producing, and at times joyful. Works are the finished product. You can have work without work. It simply means that you have projects that aren’t complete. Can you have work without work?
