Plans and Results.

One day, I was thinking about my plans and realized that many were results. For example, wanting to finish my doctorate is a result I desire. So, it got me thinking about the difference between a result and a plan. I concluded that results are easy to talk about, and people can relate to them. For example, a football team will say, we want to win the Super Bowl; this is something we all can understand. A plan to win the Superbowl is devised by coaches who do intricate development of steps needed to be taken one game at a time to ensure success. Plans are daily actions taken to move you in the direction of the result you desire. Results are typically in the future. Plans are day-to-day activities, interventions, and choices. If I want to save 3,000 by December, I can create a plan to save 58 or 59 dollars a week in a separate bank account and keep the debit card associated with that account out of my wallet to avoid using it. Plans are the friends of results. Plans also get you in touch with the journey and help you find positive moments. So what are your plans? Can you see how your plans are different than your results?
