Real Madrid

Real Madrid v Milan at sold-out Soldier Field. The crowd was clearly for Madrid. There was a sea of Vini, Bellingham, and Mbappe jerseys, a host of old-school Ronaldo, and even some David Beckham shirts from his time in Madrid. I had a Bellingham jersey, and my son a Vini jersey. The tickets were my birthday gift to him this year. It so happened that the club-friendly fell during our family vacation to Chicago. It was a nice evening in the home of my favorite football team. As we watched the game, I looked at my son and thought that if you had asked me 16 years ago what I would be doing on my vacation, I doubt that seeing an international soccer match would’ve been on the list. Over the past few years, I have become a huge international soccer fan. It is good to try new things and find new hobbies as you age. So how about you? What is something new you could try?
